AfD and archive bots
Good point. Also, regarding archiving bots, I suggest you get one, that way you don't have people editing your archives because their convo with you was moved into one, despite it still being active.
Bots have programing that figure out how long a section has been active, and if it has been inactive for a preset time, it is archived.— DædαlusT@lk / Improve 01:38, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

Hey. I just nominated Progressive Episcopalians of Pittsburgh for AfD and the link in the AfD notice is broken. I remember you fixed somthing like that for me once before, and I was wondering if you could help me out again, and if you knew why it happened so I can prevent it in the future. Regarding your removal of my tag
I have been deeply disappointed about your removal of my tag from article Suicide methods. By what chance and reason is there to keep this article? This article is plainly encouraging suicide. And fine. If you don't want to support the removal of this article, why not make a how-to-commit-suicide article here? Or, TELL ME HOW TO COMMIT SUICIDE BECAUSE YOU BELIEVE THAT THE ARTICLE SHOULD NOT BE REMOVED. State it. And I'm darn sure it'll happen, wouldn't it? Hi there, I've written this article as an attempt to introduce the articles on DNA, Gene and Genetics in a completely non-technical and approachable way. Re: It Was a Good Day
Hi, I appreciate the review, but I think putting the article on hold would've been a better idea. There are very few sources available on the song, so I think it's content is fine. I could add a link to the lyrics on MTV if you want ? which would verify the message contained in the song. The sample info is sourced in the Blender ref, it just doesn't have an in-line citation, which I'll fix right away, along with adding a ref for the charts. Ryan Shupe & the Rubberband multiple AfD Discussion
I understand that wikipedia requires reliable third party resources to support my articles, I read that loud and clear and I understand it. The REAL question for me is why does there have to be a review or a rating? It can be bought online from many big retailers such as Wal-Mart, FYE, and Amazon.com; AND it is even listed in some of the places you name such as All Music Guide, etc. I cited those places in the articles. Third party? Check Reliable well known source? check So what's the deal? Please explain to me why that's not notable enough? Handling of edits by a blocked sockpuppet?
My question was whether it was allowed & acceptable to revert edits by a blocked sockpuppeteer (in the midst of other vandalism) without checking for merit.
This particular person (scrivin, a/k/a DavidYork71) has over 300 sockpuppets, and is blocked for life, so I was not too careful. Checking a reference is not very easy.
Sorry if I overstepped. It might be a good idea to clarify the policy on the WP:SOCK page.

- It's alright. In fact, I too am to be blamed. The user who failed the article in the first place had warned me about removing the {{copyedit}} tag, but had never thought that the "assessment" would be so quick. Just as I removed the tag (I only had put it in the first place in spite of not really feeling an urgent need for copyediting!), I saw the message flashed "you have a new message (last change)"!
- It took me a bit of effort, but I have renominated it. You can of course now assess it.

I have been wary to label any poker player articles as A7, or outright delete any, because of this article: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Madeleine Rowan (2nd nomination). Because it has been kept once before at AfD but is probably the most blatantly non-notable poker player to ever exist on wikipedia (and in fact it may be kept again). Hello, I have worked very hard to make my first post and it is already up for deletion. Can you please help. I am trying to add the topic of Objectùm-sexuality and it is recognized by the German Wikipedia as Objektophil, yet it is being called neologism here in English. I founded Objectùm-Sexuality Internationale[1] and I can assure you that this condition exists. It has been adressed quite frequently in the media internationally as of very recent. It would be a shame to have this deleted. I really wish to see more authoritative articles that might help alleviate the derogatory bashing that exists because people are unaware of this condition. As a new member of Wikipedia, I felt the impact of your hammer by the tag you placed in the Article on Ray Joseph Cormier. Deferring to your experience and seniority I would welcome your suggestions on improving it. Believing it aims to make the encyclopedia easier to read in English by stating basic verifiable facts without embellishment, it conforms to the overriding principle that style and formatting should be applied consistently throughout an article, and defers to the style used by the first major contributor, a Wikipedia Administrator.

Thanks Ten. I looked for the single sentences and combined some of them. I have images I would like to post between the single sentences on the trips in 1981 and 1986 but I haven't figured out how to do that yet. The images already posted were done by the creator of the article and I have not heard from him for a week. The single sentence on being invited to lunch with the Pope's Ambassador to Canada will be expanded in time to convey a sense of being there.
As to sections for this work in progress, I envision only three for now. Preamble Prophecy and Preparation with a fourth on Prophecy again.

The images are on site as: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Maclean%27s_Cover.jpg http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:MacLean%27s_People.jpg This is the applicable tag: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Non-free_historic_image Could the %27 be removed from the names the images and mounted next to the Content Box? DoDaCanaDa (talk) 12:11, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
I believe the tag provided covers any potential controversy. The actual tag, as it reads, is attached to the images already in the article. Sometimes in life one has to take a chance and risk to accomplish anything. The images add to the understanding of the reader and for all other reasons in the tag. Perhaps other readers would weigh in with an opinion. DoDaCanaDa (talk) 14:48, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
I'll defer to your opinion, however since the images are not posted to the article there is no need to immediately delete them. Let's see what other users have to say, OK? The images are almost thirty years old and not likely to be reproduced and are used as a Reference in the article. The item in the People section of MacLeans is an antithesis to the Cover. DoDaCanaDa (talk) 12:29, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
I appreciate what you're doing Ten, but why don't we wait and see if other users have an opinion on whether the images should be added to the Article . I believe this is the WikipediA way. DoDaCanaDa (talk) 16:01, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Ten I know I need new glasses and I would like to see the images in the Article, but I'm struggling to maintain a NPOV. Having read the guidelines on fair use, I see all 10 conditions are met. Please, if I am blind, restore my sight. DoDaCanaDa (talk) 16:21, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
