TENTE International is the largest manufacturer of casters and wheels in Europe. Their headquarters are located in Cologne, Germany.
TENTE's history began in 1923 with the sale of ball casters and wheels for sliding cupboard doors in the district Tente of the town of Wermelskirchen. Eleven years later, the firm started producing its own casters. What used to be more like a manufacturer has developed into a worldwide operating company with 20 subsidiaries in Europe, North America, Asia and South Africa.
In the year 2007 the company had a turnover of €150 million and a workforce of 1012 employees.
