From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Tentacles is a 1977 Italian-American horror film starring John Huston and Shelly Winters.
Tentacles is a terrifying "true story" (it was marketted as a true story even though the events depicted are fictional) about a flesh human-eating giant octopus. Released in the United States by American International Pictures, the film was produced to cash in on the success of Steven Spielberg's Jaws.
[edit] Plot
The tourist spot Ocean Beach has come under attack by a Gigantic octopus, which captures human swimmers and picks clean the skeletons of flesh and bone marrow. It is suspected that the bay might have been polluted by local contractors, and the octopus has grown to an immense size as a result.
