Tennyson Tennis Centre

Queensland State Tennis Centre is a tennis venue in Brisbane, Australia, that is currently under construction by Mirvac, as part of the Tennyson Riverside development. Once completed in December 2008, it will have twenty three courts, representing all playing surfaces (hardcourt, clay and grass). The main stadium will have a capacity of 5,500 people (with an extra temporary seating of 1500 bringing total capacity to 7,000), with two showcase courts. Once completed, it will host a combined men and women's international event starting in early January 2009 entitled the 'Australian Men & Women's Hardcourt Championships' formerly the Next Generation Adelaide International event in Adelaide and the Mondial Gold Coast Women's championships.
