Most tennis clubs have a resident coach responsible for teaching players how to improve their game. Almost without exception, professional players employ coaches to fulfil their potential playing ability.

There are several Tennis Coaching Certificates that a coach can achieve. The process of becoming a certified coach requires attendance of a training course, followed by written and practical exams. Some of the most popular coaching certificates are:

With the growth of the internet, online coaching is now quite common. Websites offer a coaching materials in the form of videos, MP3 audio, written articles and pictorial explanations. Interactive coaching is considered an effective way to ensure a player is progressing as intended, thus many websites have an option for uploading videos for analysis.
