Tengzhou (simplified Chinese: 滕州; traditional Chinese: 滕州; pinyin: Téngzhōu) is a county-level city of Zaozhuang, Shandong province of the People's Republic of China.

Tengzhou is the legendary birthplace of Micius and Lu Ban . It served as the capital of the State of Teng during the Spring and Autumn Period.

Tengzhou is also called Good State(善国).

According to Mencius, Mencius ever addressed State of Teng, and the duke T'eng Weng Kung consulted him for the government of the kingdom. Menicus praised the State of Teng as a Good State.

The Mayor of Tengzhou is Du Yongguang. The Secretary of CPC Tengzhou Committee is Niu Qizhong.
