Tenamaxtlán

Tenamaxtlán is a municipio (municipality) in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. It has renown for the huge festivities that are held every December for a period of two weeks.^{[citation needed]}

Tenamaxtlán was founded about 480-500 years ago. The current mayor of the town is Alejandro Estrella.
