Ten North Frederick is a 1955 novel by John O'Hara. It focuses on the the life of an ambitious American named Joe Chapin, who desires to become President of the United States. The novel tells Chapin's story along with those of his patrician wife, two rebellious children, and mistress. It won the 1956 National Book Award. The 1958 film adaptation stars Gary Cooper as Chapin.
