Ten-17 FM is an Independent Local Radio station, based at high-tech studios in Harlow. The station launched in May 1993 and serves East Herts and West Essex.

Originally part of the Essex Radio Group, it is now owned by Global Radio.

At one stage, the station was briefly renamed Mercury 101.7 by then-owners GWR before a listener survey dictated a switch back to the heritage name.
