[edit] Tent stitch article

I have created this page to try and clear up some of the ambiguities regarding the various types of tent stitch. I am not a needlepointer so would welcome any input from someone more knowledgeable on whether I have got the terminology correct. I have researched various sources on the Internet and used a couple of stitch encyclopedias to try and clear up all the meanings of basketweave, continental, half cross and tent stitch as well as needlepoint stitch and petit point, all of which I found very confusing to start with! I hope this proves useful to the stitching community. Any comments or further discussion most welcome! --Velvet-Glove 17:04, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
