Article Grading:

I think the Honor Roll should combine stats from this tournament. The format has been the same for years, just the name changed, so to say Pete Sampras, for example, is only 2-2 compared to some of the more recent players makes his actual participation in the event look nominal. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.17.174.18 (talk • contribs)

Someone tried to put fake results for the Masters Cup Final in Shanghai this year. Showed Federer winning Nadal 6-0, 6-0, 6-0. I have deleted those stats but please keep an eye out so she doesn't post again. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.147.186.206 (talkcontribs)

[edit] doubles

The doubles section on this page was grossly inaccurate, having listed John McEnroe and Peter Fleming winning the event several times consecutively, which was completely false. I fixed-up the doubles section, and am trying to do more research on the event. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.14.84.110 (talkcontribs)

This page disagrees with you. —MC 19:40, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
The World Championship Tennis Masters Doubles is NOT the same event as this one. Zaxem 00:03, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
I've reverted it for now... —MC 00:36, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

For the life of me, I can't figure out where all those McEnroe/Fleming doubles titles came from. I can't find anything on it from the ATP web-site, and they aren't even listed on McEnroe's Wikipedia page. Actually, I can't figure out where any of the doubles results from before 1986 came from. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.14.84.110 (talkcontribs)

[edit] Round Robin Rules

ok, the question that always matters in such RR constellations and is depending on the organisation:

if the second place is not clear do to for example 2 players having 2 matches won and 1 lost.

1. Does the direct comparison/winner enter the semifinals or 2. Does the player progress with better Set/Game statistic progress?

I thought that the better statistics count, but heared the rumor that direct comparison counts, which for example would mean, that if Gonzalez wins his last match against Davydenko, Federer would be out of the tournament, no matter what result he has!

Thanks for your speedy response! Cheers --194.203.215.254 13:11, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
