[edit] Article improvement
Hey, I saw that you intend to enhance the quality of the article to B-class. That is a great idea and a good start. Here are a few suggestions.
[edit] Photo
I saw that you have requested a map already. How about adding a photo in addition to that? Photos can be a nice way to enhance the article quality without many words. A nice scenic view or so with the state route sign on the side of it would look great.

- Work in Progress. I'll be driving to Mississippi next week and should be able to take pictures during my trip. Some of these will be added to a future US 45 in Tennessee article as well. Pepper6181 00:51, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Measurements
I noticed that the measurements for the counties traversed are in miles only. To make the article easy to understand for readers worldwide or people who are not accustomed to the non-metric measurements, you might consider adding another column with kilometers.

[edit] History
In the history section you state that the original SR-5 followed a much different route. That is interesting. Do you think there is a chance to get a map showing the original route of SR-5? That would certainly not be a strict requirement for B-class but a very nice way to illustrate the changes the road went through over time.

- I'm working on histories for this route as well as several others, the only reliable TDOT map source that I have access to is the State Archives Building in Nashville, they do have things though that go back before 1930 though. This can be considered Work in Progress. Pepper6181 00:51, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Points of interest
Some road articles have a Sub-header "Points of interest" along the route (below the counties traversed), showing a list of interesting sights or so that are close to the road. The good effect of that also is that your article gets more Wikilinks that are not other roads, counties or cities. And it makes the article more interesting for a wider audience.

- A list of these are being compiled, mostly state parks, national parks, etc.,etc. Work in Progress. Pepper6181 00:51, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
