  • Keep Deleting this will just lead to a zillion movewars because people can't find things on their keyboard. Agathoclea (talk) 22:23, 1 June 2008 (UTC) Posted after I had started removing the templates, unfortunately. Happymelon 22:26, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
  • Keep Agree completely with Agathoclea. I also didn't notice this discussion until the template got deleted from a page on my Watchlist. {{Foreignchars}} also seems to have been deleted. I don't think there was any consensus for that, and consensus for {{Foreignchar}} also seems shaky to me. Adding something like "also known as" is not appropriate, as it is often not true; the use of "transliterations" is often just a keyboard convention not used in print. Can this be resolved without going to Deletion Review?--Boson (talk) 06:38, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
  • Keep! Reopen Discussion!. This explains how different symbols are used, not just for hatnotes. This needed way more discussion. --DerRichter (talk) 07:19, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
I just checked the deleted templates as to why nobody noticed this TFD and it was because the this template is considered for deletion message has not been transcluded. in fact on {{foreignchars}} there wasn't even a TFD notice. Agathoclea (talk) 07:31, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
    I put it on WP:DRV Agathoclea (talk) 07:43, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
