Temple Israel Cemetery

Temple Israel Cemetery, also called Pleasant Hill Cemetery, is located at 6412 North 42 Street in north Omaha, Nebraska. The cemetery is comprised of cemeteries for three congregations, including the Temple Israel Synagogue and two defunct synagogues, B'nai Jacob and Anshe Sholom. Temple Israel Cemetery is the oldest Jewish cemetery in Nebraska. The land was purchased in 1871 by the congregation that became Temple Israel.[1]
