Talk:Temporal lobe
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
if anyone knows anything about dèjá vu i need some advise. I've been having a lot of dèjá vu in the past 1 to 2 years and i was wondering if it has to do anything with the temporal lobe being damaged and that maybe i should have that checked out.
After having surgery on my right temporal lobe, I used to frequently have simple-partial seizures. During the seizures, I'd experience strange smells and deja vu. I'd sit there in a conversation and feel like I knew the words being spoken by others before they were said.
& im in love ;)
[edit] Bloody Navels.
Lately I have major cravinags for oranges and vaseline (separately, you must understand), but no matter how much I probe with an ice pick, I can't seem to abate them.~ Any suggestions? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 76.64.149.164 (talk) 07:09, 4 April 2007 (UTC).
[edit] TLE/deja vu
Deja vu and smell hallucinations are indeed symptoms of TLE/simple partial seizure disorder.
I wonder why this page doesn't mention smell hallucinations.

[edit] The God-Part?
I think that part of the brain supposedly responsible for religious experiance is located in this area. Funny that it should be intimately linked with auditory processes (i.e. Music) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.80.110.8 (talk) 23:41, 13 April 2007 (UTC).
