[edit] Information deletion

On 9th July 2007 an anonymous editor removed the image and much of the historical information from this article, stating that the article was "too messy". I disagree, and have undone that edit. PamD 22:24, 8 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Newsham or Newsam?

Some sources, particularly older ones, state Newsham but newer ones, particularly Leeds Ciy Council, state Newsam, so which should it be? The traditional name, Newsham or the one which reflects the pronunciation, Newsam?

Good point. I think we should stick with the name used by the Council, English Heritage, etc - but have made a REDIRECT from the other, and added a note to the text. PamD 09:17, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
