[edit] Reed
someone keeps adding him to the list of notable alumni. this has been discussed before and decided that he should not be listed for the simple fact that playing college football is not notable. if you were to list him, you would have to list every single graduate to ever play a sport at the college level. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.71.58.149 (talk) 20:07, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Notable Alumni
no one gives a fuck about ryan tucker or eric reed! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 140.144.175.66 (talk • contribs) 14:17, September 28, 2006 (UTC).
No need for that Jade Navarette stuff. It's not important and was probably put there just to embarass her, which is just sad. Des Reed and Ryan Tucker deserve mention. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by NectarineWindow (talk • contribs) 18:30, September 29, 2006 (UTC).
I kinda agree with both. I personally don't think that any mention of des reed or ryan tujer needs to be made considering they haven't done anything yet. when they go pro, or rather if, then i say we should add them. Jade on the other hand has had a VERY successful career so far as an entertainer. whether it is the big screen or "private" performances, it doesn't change the fact that she is still a star to some people. Thanks for adding a link to steve lindsay's page. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.230.203.42 (talk • contribs) 01:41, September 30, 2006 (UTC).
- I agree with NectarineWindow that the Jade Navarette entry is not necessary as it could be considered defamation or libel. Further, although anonymous 140.144.175.66 has come to the conclusion that "no one gives a fuck about ryan tucker or eric reed!", if Ms. Navarette is to be included with little to no sources pertaining to her notability, Mr. Tucker and Mr. Reed should be included on the same grounds. In my opinion, take them all or leave them all, but if they are to be included, at least use proper form. Thank you. — Ryan 22:04, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
- Regardless of the view that including Jade Naverette is needless and possibly libel, the entry does not have a reliable source. Thanks for the additions to the Sports section. — Ryan 22:50, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
i took off reed and mooney. mooney may quailify, but it had no info to support it. reed is a player on a college football team. this is not notable in any way. if he were to make the nfl, by all means, add him. if you insist on keeping him on there, i expect you to list EVERY graduate that EVER played college football from tchs. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.230.204.195 (talk • contribs) 15:54, January 27, 2007.
- Agreed. It just can't be left alone for some reason. Notability is relative.... Ryan 19:14, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Movies
I know that the schools football field was used in the opening graduation scene of the film Can't Hardly Wait. Does anyone know of other noteworthy events that might have taken place on campus? PMHauge 15:16, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Korean Club
When linking this to another page there is some question as to just which link to use. There seems to be 3 possible choices: The previous which was: Korean Club which is a link to a disambiguation page.
The current version: Korean Club which is a link to the article Korea, a nation and former state on the Korean peninsula – this article focuses on social sciences
Or a third option: Korean Club which is a link to the article Koreans, an ethnic group. Personally I think this third option is better, but would like to get some input from someone with a closer connection to the Korean Club. Dbiel (Talk) 07:00, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
