Is the capitalization of this article name correct? Should it be plural? RickK 23:40, 22 Sep 2003 (UTC)
Yes, it should be. Please read Sahara Desert talk page. Anthère
a good part of the article deals only with temperate RAIN forest, which has its own entry. it is not clear from the text whether temperate coniferous forest are a type of temperate rain forest or if it is the other way around. are all mentioned ecoregions temperate coniferous forests? could someone clarify that and move the text where it belongs? the coniferous forest is NOT the biggest biome on earth. the biggest biome is the desert. It is quite obvious. Who ever didn't know this should do some research. The desert is all of antarctica and northpole, and southwest united states, northern africa, and almost all of australia is desert
[edit] largest terrestrial biome?
Temperate coniferous forests, as defined here, are distinct from Boreal forests; if one counts the two together, they may be the largest biome on the earth. Separately, however, Temperate coniferous forest is not. Tom Radulovich 21:33, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
