[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Eric evans.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Eric evans.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] License tagging for Image:Graupner-manuscript.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Graupner-manuscript.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Non-free use disputed for Image:Dean flynn.jpg
This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:Dean flynn.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 00:32, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Christoph Graupner
Hello Telemann, could you please take a look at the following URL and check if the information is right? It is nice to have something to illustrate the lemma on Graupner, because there is no portrait of him, and while his manuscripts look like a piece of art. It would be very sorry if they will delete the image you uploaded, and which I uploaded into commons, to make the use easier, e.g. it in the dutch wikipedia. There is a little hurry, hope you can adjust the information, within a few days.

- I've fixed the licensing info on the page (well, actually, the information was correct, it just needed a little template), it should be fine now. Thanks for your good work, let me know if you have any questions/need any help. Mak (talk) 03:36, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Edition
I am unclear what Complete Symphonies and Complete Ouvertures of Christoph Graupner Edition and Complete Symphonies and Complete Ouvertures of Christoph Graupner Graupner Edition were meant to be since they seemed to be copy and pastes of the Christoph Graupner article. If it is meant to be about a certain edition of his works, then surely that can be included within the Graupner article? -- RHaworth 18:02, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Telemann's 1716-1717 Cantata Cycle
A tag has been placed on Telemann's 1716-1717 Cantata Cycle requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Ohmpandya (Talk to Me...) 00:39, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
- Please expand the article immediately, or else it is liable to be deleted again. It needs a WP:LEAD to explain who and what it is about, then add reliable sources to the article. The page will be deleted in a few days if there is no action. Woody (talk) 01:45, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] January 2008
Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from pages that you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Waggers (talk) 10:38, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] List of compositions by Christoph Graupner
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article List of compositions by Christoph Graupner, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}}
to the top of List of compositions by Christoph Graupner. Voceditenore (talk) 08:08, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
