Telmo Fernandez-Castro

Dr. Telmo Fernandez-Castro (born 1960, Ponferrada, Spain), is a Spanish astrophysicist working on binary symbiotic stars. He studied astrophysics at the Complutense University of Madrid. Since 1980, he works in the Planetarium of Madrid. He is the author of Historias del Universo (Espasa-Calpe, 1997) . On October 2007 he edited his third book El Desafío del Universo, together with Dr.Benjamin Montesinos. In the 1980s and early 90s, he was playing in the Spanish rugby national team.
