The College was previously known as Walker Technical College and was based in Oakengates, Shropshire. Its success was the cause of a move to a large campus on the outskirts of Wellington which became the part of new town of Telford. Financial planning by the College and Governors allowed a 5 year period of development to create a modern environment which, with hard working staff provide top quality educational provision to a wide range of students. The College is also known as "TCAT" and "Telford College" although not to be mixed up with the College of the same name in Edinburgh.
