Telescopus hoogstraali is a species of snake in the Colubridae family. It is monotypic within the genus Telescopus. It is found in Egypt, Israel, Jordan, and Palestinian Territory, Occupied. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland, rocky areas, and hot deserts. It is threatened by habitat loss.
