Telekom Srbija (full legal name: Preduzeće za telekomunikacije Telekom Srbija a.d.)[1] is a telecommunications company based in Serbia, with its headquarters in Belgrade. The company provides a range of fixed line, mobile, and Internet communications services in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.

Mobile Telephony of Serbia (mt:s) is mobile telephone subdivision of Telekom Srbija, which was found in 1998. The company has wide range of offers to business and private clients, while the latest is 3G technology, introduced in late 2006.

Telekom Srbija still holds monopoly in fixed-line operations in Serbia.

[edit] Bosnia and Herzegovina
Telekom Srbija recently acquired the majority of Telekom Srpske's shares through a tender, for €646 million. The second-highest bidder was Telekom Austria with an offer of €467 million.

Telekom Srbija started its operations in Montenegro in July 2007, after the company gained license as a third mobile operator as a part of the consortium with Ogalar B.V. company. The consortium offered for the license the sum of €16 million. The name for this subsidiary is m:tel, and is owned 51% by Telekom Srbija.
