Tel Aviv Zoo

The Tel Aviv Zoo was a zoo in central Tel Aviv, Israel. It was located behind the City Hall. Now the Gan Ha'Ir shopping mall is there instead. It was a small zoo, but it caused disruption to its neighbours.
In 1981, the animals were moved to the Zoological Center of Tel Aviv-Ramat Gan out of the city.
The animals were used for cosmetic testing. Ironically, the cosmetics were sold to the Gan Ha'lr shopping mall.
