[edit] Noel Gray left Kreisler to start a medical electronics business
I am not sure who matilda or qrs are but they were not around when Telectronics was started and so there interference with this entry must be questioned. Are they friends of the late PAul Trainor? If so then are they trying to protect him, indeed are they paid to do this. The pathetic media reporting in Australia has cfeated a myth about Trainor as the founder of the pacemaker industry and this is not true. The company Telectronics is the company that succeeded and the reasons for this success is not told by qrs or matilda. They just do not know. They were not there! How can this Encyclopedia use heresay information and passit off as truth. Thuth is what you should be looking for not agendas of unscrupulous liars like Trainor and his sort. (URS)
Hi in response to this. I do not know that I am in conflict with anyone over the Noel Gray article other than ensuring that wikipedia policies of verifiability and no original research are adhered to. I do this by ensuring that all statements can be sourced to reliable sources and that those sources do not express a conflict of interest . All my knowledge on Noel Gray comes only from reliable sources and also some obituary articles which are not quite as reliable as I would like in the sense that they of course show a bias. I am not an employee of Telectronics, never have been, never benefited from any of their products - I am an outsider! I have no axe to grind. I do not know Paul Trainopr or anyone associated with the firm--Matilda talk 10:56, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
== Restoring article to its current version == I recently reverted a substantial rewrite of the article (here) and thought I should explain why. The rewrite was to restore an earlier and inferior version of the page with the following isssues:
- Poor sourcing - the earlier version has few sources and most of those are primary (eg. books and displays written by Noel Gray and family about Noel Gray).
- Point of view problems - a focus of the earlier version appears to be to promote the achievements of Noel Gray at the expense of other Telectronics personnel. This is not supported by adequate sourcing, and presernts itself as a POV problem. It should be noted that this is also not the Noel Desmond Gray article, which is a more suitable place for discussion of his history compared to the company's.
- Conflict of interest - from the talk pages here and at Talk:Noel Desmond Gray, it appears the earlier version was subtantially written by Mr Gray's son. This is a conflict of interest, which should be avoided wherever possible.
- Article "ownership" - though this is the most subjective issue, the earlier version contains numerous spelling, format and grammatical errors, as well as links to long-deleted images. this suggests it was not reverted to as a carefully considered alternative, but simply to put the article back to the last version that editor wrote and delete everyone else's contributions. If this is an incorrect assumption I am happy to withdraw it with apologies.
As significant reversion deserve some discussion I would welcome anyone else's comments on these points. Euryalus (talk) 04:48, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
First of all you are refferencing inaccurate material. The obit for xxx written by xxx is full of lies and is not suported by the factual Corporate Affairs Documents nor the records of Nucleus or Telectronics. It is a subjective reccolection from xxx who himself passed himself off as the founder of Telectronics in order to defraud the public when he floated Nucleus in 1980 and subsequently Telectronics Holdings Limited. He remained in controll only because he hels over 50% of the shares in each company not because of his ability or performance. Indeed the shares of both companies floundered until he sold to Pacific Dunlop at a marked premium to the trading price after being rebufed by Seimens owners of anothe pacing company, because they "didn't trust him". The company was in a mess when PD bought it and the fact speak for themselves in that regard since the company was defunct soon after the purchase. A lot has been writen about Telectronics in the media and much if not all of it is untrue. Like Napoleon xxx controled what was writen manipulatin staff with threats of dismissal if Noel Gray's name was ever mentioned. xxx and xxx cooperated with this and so the situation now is not the truth but rasther a cocnoction of the protagonists minus Noel Gray's story. Since it was he who founded the company and whom's work the others are falsley claiming it is wrong of Wickapedia to ignore Noel Gray and his views as expressed in 'Tel;ectronics the Early Years' Attempts by xxx to convince the readers ogf this site that Noel Gray told untruths and his son is mad should be seen for what they are, a blantant attempt to promote his view at the sexense of the truth. (Veritas)
- I support the views put forward by User:Euryalus and continue to have concerns about the conflict of interest editor and the views put forward by him which reference unpublished material. Wikipedia's policies on no original research and the substantiation of claims - ie verifiability through referencing for reliable published sources are quite clear.--Matilda talk 22:51, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
- I support the views of User:Euryalus. It is of concern that the edit by (Veritas) above and edits to the article by the same 203.164.xxx.xxx constitute not only Poor Sourcing, Point of view problems, Conflict of interest, & WP:Own but also WP:Attack on some persons.QRS|QRS (talk) 02:30, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
- After reviewing the archival history of this article and noting the constancy of WP:Attack on the four persons named in the edit by (Veritas)on 29th February, all apparently by a singular person, I have chosen to xxx the names of the persons attacked. Further, considering that the article relates to events of 30+ years ago it is unlikely that additional significant and properly sourced information is available - thus it may be appropriate to nominate the article for permanent WP:Protect. I invite discussion by other editors.QRS (talk) 02:36, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

- If you accept the version currect suported by the QRS character then you will be shown to be wrong. QRS is a protaginast for the proipogation of the factually incorrect history of Telctronics and should be outed as an imposter! (Plato)
