Talk:Telecentre

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There is a distinction between telecottage and telecentre. These are not one in the same, but they do follow the same strategy. Telecentre is a significant concept in Corporate Real Estate, Facilities Management and Teleworking. As the growth of attention in RE&FM turns to Green initiatives, this strategy will become less obscure. I personally have found the reference helpful in making a clear definition and name to the concept.

I think the term telecottage, as used in some places in Europe and perhaps other industrialized countries (but not in the United States) relates to telecommuting. It is indeed quite different from the telecenter concept as understood around the world.Bfillip 22:19, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Seems like notability concerns have been resolved.

There are now plenty of citations here. Can someone check this and consider removing the flag? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.62.158.205 (talk) 12:35, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
