[edit] Removed surnames

I donot understand your comments and your rationalization os saying this is a Pro-Telaga article it is pointing to the history of the community and if you are only referring to the fact that it is not pointing to any references then you can refer to the main article Kapu Caste which would give informaiton of whatver you are looking for...

I'll give two examples, using italics to indicate the parts which I believe indicate a pro-Telaga bias.

"Another legendary instance of Telaga bravery was exhibited during the Bobbili War, fought between the Velama Kingdom and the Vizianagaram Kingdom, led by Vijayaram raju. When all seemed lost for the Bobbilli, Ranga Rayudu, the Bobbili king, before riding out to war, in no mood to submit the honour and the dignity of the Royal House, ordered all of his commanders to execute their families before riding out to meet their fate. Accordingly the Telaga and Velama commanders and soldiers executed their families before proceeding out to war. Viajayaramaraju was laid to rest by a valiant Telaga Commander Miriyala Venkata Rao along with Papa Rayudu."

"After the fall of the Kakateeyas, the Telagas, under Kaapaya Nayaka and Prolaya Nayaka, led the battle against the invading Bahamanis by combining forces with the Reddy, Velama and Balija Nayaks, and liberated the Andhra Country from tyranny and destruction."

The first sentence declares the battle to be a legendary instance of bravery, which is an opinion, and may be an incident that the other side would describe as an "infamous instance of Telaga brutality." By starting with "another", it further implies that this is one of many legendary instances of bravery from a long and glorious history of heroic acts. The role of an encyclopedia is to describe historical events dispassionately and without bias. The author of an encyclopedic entry mustn't take sides.

The final paragraph is especially suspect. The battle may have liberated the Andhra Country from tryanny and destruction from one side's perspective, and it may have robbed the Andhra Country of a golden age from the other side's perspective. Saying that Bahamani occupation represented tyranny and destruction is an opinion. Just state the facts, don't add commentary. In every conflict, there are those who gained from the result, and those who lost.

--DOSGuy 05:59, 18 March 2007 The invasion of Muslims has caused lot of destruction and loss to the Andhra as Muslims not only presecuted the poor people but also tried to ruin our heritage and holy places. The destruction of the Hampi temples and othere south indian temples are an instance of this. They also tried hard to forcibly convert people to Islam. This has been stated by many Historians(Suravam Pratap Reddy in his book- Andhrula Sangika Charitra ). Telagas fought hard with the Brahmanis to consoliadate there position in coastal and southern Andhra. This is clearly visible due to minimum population of Muslims in Coastal and Rayalaseema areas where Telagas are present in large number. The title Naidu is predominate in these areas too. This can conclude that Telagas fought for the liberation of the people from Muslim heagomony.
