[edit] Thoughts

So I looked over the articles. On The Bench is pretty good. Right now the only gripe I'd have is that a show on the air for 10 days might not be notable since it really can't have been covered in outside media. But I'll try my best to defend it if it comes up for deletion.

[edit] Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button Image:Signature_icon.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 00:52, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Improvement

Its looking better. I made a couple of minor edits and will try to get to it more this week. Also, its probably a better idea if only Tegan Summer uses this account and any other individuals contributing use their own accounts (they don't need to be their real names, it could be RandomBrit or any other name). I still want to reword some things with other actor names, etc, but I can tackle that another day. MBisanz talk 03:42, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for your message. I found a reference for the The Knights Of Mary Phagan bit (actually the Backstage West article did mention this, and the other reference I found mentioned your name). I'm afraid I've readded the [citation needed] tag to the sentence referring to your heritage because it is not verifiable. You might find it useful to read Wikipedia:Verifiability for the policy on this. Basically, all facts need to be able to be checked by readers. I can see why you want it in the article, but it needs to backed up. Although I'm inclined to believe that you are Tegan Summer, it is completely possible that you are in fact a fan who would like people to believe that your parents are Barbadian. Also, the name of your wife is unreferenced. Again, it is possible that your no. 1 fan (called Molly Reynolds!) added this. This is fairly unlikely, but I'm sure you would agree that it is possible. It's really important that Wikipedia is verifiable. So, if you can think of any published sources contain references to these personal biographical details, please add them. First-party sources (eg. your own website) would be ok in this context. Anyway, thanks for working with other editors on this. It might be an idea if you try not to edit the actual article, but add suggestions to the talkpage. I will leave a welcome message below that has some useful links. I hope you stick around and contribute to other articles of interest to you. --BelovedFreak 16:28, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
Also, don't worry about the orange tags on top. Their just things to encourage people to expand the article and add citations. Its only the red tags that need immediate action. MBisanz talk 16:30, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Images

Ok, I went through and fixed them. If you could edit these pages Image:On the Bench Logo.png, Image:Sabra Williams.png to remove the text "See [1] for confirmation." that would wrap up all license issues. Should ?Image:Deadly7Lust.png appear in an article? MBisanz talk 19:33, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Reference

Hi, thanks for your message. I've added the reference to the article, that's much better now. Let me know if there's anything else I can do. --BelovedFreak 09:56, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image:TSP_Logo.jpg listed for deletion

An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:TSP_Logo.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Kelly hi! 07:46, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

Tegan, I'll handle the above issue. Since we're going to wait for more news coverage of the production company before it gets an article, we'll just delete the picture until that time as well. Once it does become notable, I can undelete the image with a single mouseclick, so no need to worry. Thanks. MBisanz talk 07:59, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Raz Adoti

Hi there, well done on the new article. I have gone through it and formatted the citations properly. For future reference, I use the templates at Wikipedia:Citation templates, always within <ref></ref> tags, and then at the bottom of the page, I put a References section, with either <References /> or {{Reflist}}.

A few other things:

  • I removed some of the references because I didn't think they added anything. You don't need to cite IMDb for every role, just link to it at the bottom in "External links". Similarly, you don't need to link to a film's website just because you have mentioned it. I removed this link: [1] because it doesn't seem to mention him.
  • Try to remember to refer to the subject by his surname (you did mostly - just forgot one I think!)
  • I removed a couple of categories. Category:African diaspora because this is already covered by Category:British people of Nigerian descent. Also, Category:Ethnic groups in the United Kingdom - this is just for actual ethnic groups, not for people belonging to ethnic minorities.
  • Film titles should always be in italics.
  • Don't be afraid of red links. They encourage editors to create articles that are currently missing.
  • I moved the article to Razaaq Adoti as this seems to be the name he is most often credited as (according to IMDb). Sure enough, a few articles already link to his full name. [2]

Anyway, good work. I hope it is getting easier & making more sense! --BelovedFreak 11:17, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

You've done a good job in finding many sources and citing them. Remember to add ==References== and the reflist template to see them on the page. I went ahead and added it for you -- but you now need to redo the final citations where there is an internal coding error. Good luck. CactusWriter (talk) 23:46, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

Regarding the reference 11 entry, it was only missing the two ending brackets -- and that's easy to overlook. I went ahead and added them. CactusWriter (talk) 01:28, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

Hi there, I see CactusWriter beat me to it. Glad to see you're carrying on creating new articles! --BelovedFreak 20:29, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
