Huh?
can I ask why I have been deleted when I've done nothing wrong? I tried to log in one day recently and my username is deleted with nothing. Not even a warning!--61.69.128.223 06:20, 30 April 2006 (UTC)

- Whoops! That was the biggest blunder I've ever made! I was using spaces in my username to login, not hyphens. Duh! Sorry for being so silly! *blush* Tedd the Tiger 06:48, 30 April 2006 (UTC)

Helpme
Is it possible to ban anonymous editing from certain IP addresses? I ask this because while browsing Wikipedia from my school I've regularly gotten messages saying I've been vandalising articles. There are somewhere in the order of 1000 computers at my school and they are all behind the same public IP. If there is a problem of vandalism from this IP (I am writing this message from school) it would probably do well to ban the IP from anonymous editing. --Tedd the Tiger 05:05, 23 March 2006 (UTC)
- IP addresses are usually blocked for a short period (24 hours, a week etc) is they vandalise. Wikipedia:Vandalism has more information. Currently, we don't usually permanently ban school IP address, since even logged in users (eg teachers, good students like you) won't be able to edit either.--Commander Keane 23:56, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
