My name is Ted Merriman (no relation to the Canadian politician.)

I joined Wikipedia In December of 2004

I work in the library at Eastern University and am the primary contributor to the Wikipedia article on the institution. I enjoy many genres of music, Classical, Nordic folk, Russian Pop, Electronic dance music, and traditional Christian music. I am also a major DVD collector and own every DVD in the Criterion Collection along with almost every Star Trek DVD released, and hundreds of others. I also like the Stargate TV series. I am a devout Christian and am a pacifist but very conservative on most social issues. My political views fit most closely with the US Constitution Party, though I don't agree fully with their platform.

I also have Asperger's Syndrome and am a survivor of squamous cell carcinoma of my tongue.
