Ted Stryker is a fictional detective featured in the 1994 survival horror video game Alone in the Dark 2. He only appears during the opening sequence and is not a playable character.

Stryker was sent to find the young child Grace Saunders following her kidnapping at the hands of the fearsome pirate smuggler, One Eyed Jack.

After scrambling the exterior part of his mansion Hell's Kitchen, Stryker almost succeeded in rescuing Grace, only to fall victim to an evil clown doll being controlled by the Voodoo Witch Queen, Elizabeth Jarret.

Stryker's friend and fellow investigator Edward Carnby picks up where he left off, eventually learning of Stryker's murder in the house. He then vows to save Grace and destroy their immortal enemies.
