Ted Owens

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ted Owens (1920-1987) was a man who claims to have had contacts with multi-dimensional Extremely Advanced Beings.

Mr. Owens suffered severe head injuries on several occasions as a youth. Despite these Mr. Owens developed a very high intelligence quotient, became a member of MENSA, and developed skill in several trades and talents.[citation needed]

Later in life Mr. Owens was exposed to a UFO (Unidentified Flying Object) and claims to have started having conversations in his brain and mind with advanced beings called Space Intelligences or SI's. Mr. Owens described the SIs as invisible beings of pure energy, although he sometimes depicted them as insects. Mr. Owens claimed that SI's had caused his head injuries earlier in life so his brain could have effective two-way communication with them and that he was the first person since the hero Musa or "Moses" to have such a gift.

Many people who met, investigated, and researched Ted Owens testified that he could predict and control lightning, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes and volcanoes, through psychokinesis, although the objectivity of their investigations is called highly into question.[citation needed] He was also, allegedly, adept at predicting and experiencing UFO phenomena. Parapsychologist Jeffrey Mishlove wrote a book about Owens, The PK Man: A True Story of Mind Over Matter, with a foreword by John Edward Mack. Science fiction and non-fiction writer Otto Binder, reported on the unbelievably unique case of Ted Owens for SAGA Magazine in the early 1970s.
