Talk:Teddy's Nook

[edit] Mrs Lillie Langtry (the Jersey Lily) stayed at the house at sometime between 1877 and 1980.
Should that not be "between 1877 and 1880"? She died in 1929. --jmb 09:11, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
Well it's in the history book for the house. -ZaffaNE 16.23, 8 October 2006
- It seems unlikely that someone who died in 1929 could stay in the house until 1980. It is almost certainly a misprint but I just posted the comment above so the person who posted the original information could check it and correct the main article themself. --jmb 20:57, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
Saltburn have a victorian festival every year. If King Edward had had a suite of rooms at the Zetland they would have cashed in on it before now. Anyway Prince Albert Edward was known as Bertie not Teddy so the story of Lily Langtree 'entertaining' him appears somewhat spurious
