Tectisumen clypidellaeformis is a species of small deepwater limpet, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Lepetellidae.

This species is endemic to New Zealand, including the Chatham Islands and The Snares.

This snail is found at depths of between 90 and 550 m.
[edit] Shell description
The shell is minute, saddle-shaped, with the sides produced medially but the ends raised.
Shell coloration is white, the interior showing a distinct semi-circular muscle impression.
Shell height is up to 2.2 mm, length up to 2.8 mm, and width up to 2.5 mm.
