Technozion

Technozion is the Annual Science and Technology Festival of the National Institute of Technology in Warangal, India. Technozion is held every year over a period of three days on the NIT Warangal campus.[citation needed] Its motto is "Conceive, Create, Conquer". Technozion started off on a small scale in 2006 with the aim of providing a platform for students to showcase their technical skills and in the short period of 3 years has grown to become one of the largest technical festivals in South India.[citation needed] The last few editions of Technozion have seen more than 6,000 participants from more than 300 colleges across India along with teams from countries like USA, Germany, Poland, Nepal, Iran, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

Key components of Technozion are the competitions and workshops. The most popular are the robotics events, which attract participants from all over India. The events are organized by a core committee formed every year, and comprising of students of the institute, headed by a student coordinator and under the guidance of a member of the faculty.
