The Technological Institute of Textile & Sciences (TITS), founded in 1943, is a postsecondary school in India which offers engineering programs and post graduate programs.

The institute has its pass-outs spread all over the world, occupying key positions in textiles, apparel and IT companies. The largest alumni community is maintained on the web portal TITOBA On The Net, which organizes a "Hall of Fame" program.

Founded in 1943, The Technological Institute of Textile & Sciences is a center for research and education at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The institute has attached to it a textile mill for training the students under actual working conditions and for conducting research and perfecting the processes necessary for an incidental to manufacture of all types of products. Students after undergoing such practical training, are fully equipped to handle confidently and independently the responsibilities entrusted to them by the industry. This association of a Textile Mill with an Institute in Textile Technology is unique in India and not frequent even in the Western World.

There are four hostels for boys and one separate hostel for girls having a total of 500 single seated rooms with a large dining hall and a cafeteria. All the hostel rooms are fitted with ceiling fans. A fully vegetarian hostel mess is being run by students themselves on the cooperative basis under the guidance of faculty members. Hostel accommodation would be allotted strictly on 'first come first served' basis.

Hostel area also have Alumni home for pass-out students , VIP Guest house and guest house facility for college guests and parents of students. Hostel also provide sports facilities for students with various indoor and outdoor games. Various outdoor games consist of Cricket, Hockey, volleyball, Basketball, Football, Lawn Tennis etc. and indoors have Badminton, Table Tennis , Carom and Chess etc.

The Candidates are admitted to the college based on their score in the AIEEE Examination (conducted by CBSE), Common Engineering Entrance Test (CEET) and through LEET (for diploma students).

The Institute is located in Birla Colony, opposite Railway Station, Bhiwani, a District Headquarter in Haryana having a population of just over five lac lying on the broad-gauge line connecting Rewari, Bhatinda, Hisar, Jaipur, Rohtak, Delhi, Chandigarh by broad-gauge railway line. It is well connected by direct bus routes to all major towns of Haryana, Punjab and neighboring states of Uttar-Pradesh and Rajasthan.
