Techlink is a technology education website that has facilitated links between schools and the enterprise community in New Zealand in two ways – by publishing examples of technological practice and by facilitating units of technology education that involve technologists. This website was established in 2003 with support from New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, through the Enterprise Culture & Skills Activities Fund. In 2005 a partnership between the Ministry of Education and the Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand has resulted in the continued development of Techlink to provide resource material to support the planning and implementation of programmes in technology education, and case studies of classroom practice.
