[edit] K-12 Education

Have been considering a discussion about technorealism and K-12 education...specifically, what are schools doing (or nor doing) to prevent the overuse of technology and computers with their students? The current child health crisis (obesity, poor nutrition, depression, anxiety, poor self-esteem) seems to me to only be heightened by the continual sole reliance on and promotion of computer and other technologies in schools and homes. How do we promote a balance? And...recoup the real-world experiences (nature, social interaction, travel, culture) that children desperately need to become heathly, productive, and happy? --User:Bthomp2112

Bthomp2112, this talk page for discussing improvements to the Technorealism article. Were you suggesting creating a section on new technologies and education in the article itself? --Loremaster 16:14, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
