I am planning a major redo of Software systems architecture/Software architecture.

Does anyone have any major objections if I fold "Technical architecture" into the new S/W architecture definition? (I would still keep it distinct.)

Can anyone guide me to the canonical and/or seminal definitions of TA? Why was it seen as necessary to distinguish it from software architecture? Is it a proper subset?
