The Univerity's Translation would be better Polytechnic University of Madrid (it´more Certain)can any one change the article's title —Preceding unsigned comment added by Zape82 (talkcontribs)

No, the official English translation is "Technical University of Madrid" [1][2], and the guidelines also recommend putting always the acronym, e.g. "Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM)" or "Technical University of Madrid (UPM)" (yes, that's correct, the Spanish acronym also when using the English translation). AFAIK, "Polytechnic" is used for other kind of education. --surueña 08:04, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
