The Technical Club of Madison is of significant historical interest, as it once was of substantial size, around 400 members, and its roster of presidents is a who's who of technical lights of mid-20th century Madison, WI. The few examples given in the article show the noteworthiness of the speakers presenting to the club, and give a hint at the cultural richness of Madison in the 20s and 30s. Published sources of factual details are few, and wikipedians are encouraged to add more. Nevertheless, in extending the breadth of wikipedia in 20th Century cultural history, the article provides a small but valuable part. An institution is no less notable for being less than fully understood or document.Rabbet (talk) 14:00, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
