"Although other companies, notably Ibanez, had manufactured multi-effect units, the Sansamp was unique in that it introduced the concept of amp-modeling".

This line makes it sound like the Sansamp is a multiFX unit. I would suggest its changed, but since I'm not an expert on the history of guitar gear I didnt want to do it myself. I do think though that the sansamp and multiFX units are completely different things.
