The choice of positioning is pretty clearly to centre on the USA, which is fine when it's a commissioned work of the US government, but isn't so appropriate here. jnothman ^talk 01:06, 30 November 2005 (UTC)

It's appropriate for some articles & inappropriate for others. What would be good is a second map with the split through the Americas. Nice if we could have a couple centred on the poles too. Jimp 07:48, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
