Hi there.
To answer your question, wikipedia and other wikisites are editable by anyone, whether or not you have created an account. However, I think what you were asking, is if you have an account on en.wikipedia.org (English Wikipedia) and you go onto fr.wikipedia.org, would your account still work? The answer is no. Unfortunately each wikisite is considered a separate entity, meaning that if you wanted an account on all wiki websites, you would have to go and create an account on each wiki website.
The good news is that whenever you do create a user account on a wiki, you can check the box that says "Remember me". This is very useful because you won't have to sign in as your user every time you visit that site (assuming you use the same computer each time).

You mean the tables of contents? It automatically appears when a certain amount (4 I think) sections appear on a page. If can be forced to appear using __TOC__ --pgk 18:46, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
