[edit] Plot Summary
Kimberly and Trini attempt to close down a hazardous waste dump. They're able to get enough signatures, despite some rude behavior by Bulk and Skull. They ask Jason, Billy, and Zack to come with them, though the three are busy. Jason has a karate class to teach, Billy is president of the Science Club, and Alpha needs Zack to help him with an undisclosed job. The girls decide they'll have to take the signatures to the dump alone.
On the moon, Rita reveals that she is behind the dump, as she hopes to destroy the Earth with pollution. She lures Trini and Kimberly for an ambush, and the two rangers are attacked by the Putty Patrol.
At the Command Center, Zack is teaching Alpha dance moves when Zordon realizes the girls are being attacked. He summons Jason and Billy to the Command Center, but before they can help Trini and Kim, Rita unleashes the powerful Mighty Minotaur onto Earth. Jason, Zack, and Billy are forced to morph and confront the Minotaur first. He proves to be an overwhelming opponent, and Rita decides to use her wand to make him grow.
Trini and Kimberly are able to defeat the putties, but before they can help the others, Goldar and more putties attack another area of Angel Grove. The two girls morph and confront him. Eventually, the Mighty Minotaur grows and the rangers summon their Dinozords. Kimberly blasts Goldar and the putties with the Pterodactal Dinozord. The rangers form the Megazord but are unable to defeat the Minotaur. Zordon summons them back to the Command Center.
He unveils the Power Weapons to the rangers. Jason wields the Power Sword, Trini the Power Daggers, Billy the Power Lance, Kimberly the Power Bow, and Zack the Power Axe. The rangers teleport out and confront the Minotaur once again, now in normal size. They combine their weapons to form the Power Blaster and destroy him.
Back at school, the rangers are pleased to have defeated the Mighty Minotaur and succeeded in getting the waste dump closed down.
