Team Northumbria

Team Northumbria are a netball team based in the north-east of England. They are one of eight teams in The Super League, the elite netball competition in England and Wales. The team is coached by Denise Egan, who formerly coached the England A Team, England Under 21s, and is the current National Netball Assistant Coach.

Southern Steel and former Southern Sting Goal Keeper Megan Hutton was signed four weeks after the Sting's National Bank Cup victory in New Zealand. Hutton formerly appeared in the Silver Ferns Open Squad in 2001-2002, and she has captained the New Zealand A Squad.
