Team LCR is a motorcycle racing team currently competing it the MotoGP World Championship under the name Honda LCR.

The team was set up by Lucio Cecchinello in 1996. He set up his own team for the 125cc World Championship using Honda motorcycles, earning several top ten returns. Similar results followed in 1997. In 1998 the team got its first Grand Prix victory in the Madrid Grand Prix at Jarama.

In 2001 the team switched to Aprilia motorcycles, Cecchinello took another victory at the Catalan Grand Prix.

In 2002 LCR competed in 2 classes, Lucio Cecchinello (3 victories and 2 second places) and Alex De Angelis (1 second place) in 125cc and the young Australian Casey Stoner and the Spanish David Checa in 250cc.

At the end 2003 Italian Grand Prix, Lucio decided to stop his rider career after having achieved 2 victories and 1 second place in 125 cc class. His 125cc team mate Casey Stoner also had a successful season with 4 podiums. in 250cc Randy de Puniet rode the official RSW250 achieving the 4th position in the final standings getting the podium for 9 times with 3 victories.

In the 2004 season the team competed in the 250cc class with De Puniet and 125cc class with Roberto Locatelli and Mattia Pasini.

For the 2005 season the team only competed in the in 250cc class with Roberto Locatelli and Casey Stoner on Aprilia factory bikes. Team LCR along with their rider Casey Stoner moved up to MotoGP for 2006 using the Honda RC211V. They finished the season with a 2nd place finish and a pole position.

Carlos Checa joined the team for 2007 using the new 800cc Honda RC212V but the team was not able to repeat its 2007 resaults often fighting to make it in the top 15.

For 2008 and 2009Randy de Puniet joins the team.
