Team Final Boss is a professional Halo 3 team which competes in Major League Gaming (MLG). They are sponsored by Washington Wizards player Gilbert Arenas. Team members had competed at other MLG events for [[StK] . They were considered the top Halo team in the MLG due to a string of victories in 2004 and 2005. Their 8-event winning streak came to an end when the now arch-rival of Final Boss, Team Carbon defeated them at the event in Orlando during the 2006 season. They came in second place to Carbon at the following two events; the New York Playoffs and the National Championships. During the off season, Final Boss let team member Saiyan go in favor of StrongSide. Final Boss bounced back from the 2006 season for 2007 and won the first two events, before slipping to second against Carbon once again in the 3rd event in Dallas. They stepped up to win event 4 in Chicago, but lost event 5 to a newly revamped Str8 Rippin' team in the Finals. The 2007 National Championships saw Final Boss cementing their dynasty in Halo 2 by winning the championship over arch-rival Carbon without losing a single game throughout the entire tournament. Final Boss transitioned smoothly into Halo 3 with a victory at the inaugural Halo 3 MLG Tournament in New Jersey, taking down Team Classic in the Championship Match.

[edit] History
According to MLGpro.com:
“ | Just before the 2005 MLG Season began, the Ogres and Walshy joined forces with Saiyan to form what would go on to be far and away the most successful and heralded Halo 2 team to date. Long considered the team to beat, Final Boss set the bar for competitive gameplay, consistently innovating new strategies and techniques to stay ahead of the pack. Winning as many as eight consecutive tournaments, Final Boss has been a dynastic force within the MLG Pro Circuit. Following a three tournament slide to second place to close the 2004 Season, Final Boss recruited the talents of Strongside in an effort to return to the top of the prize podium.
Lead by human-highlight reel and tactician Walshy, Final Boss are favored to reach the Championship Match in every event they enter. Strongside’s youthful determination complements the awe-inspiring Ogres, who strike fear into even the toughest opponents through their versatile slaying capabilities. The overall dominance and persistent hard work and sportsmanship of the squad has earned Final Boss a three year, one million dollar contract with Major League Gaming. |

[edit] Coach
After losing two events consecutively in 2006 to Carbon, Team Final Boss acquired The Ogre Twins' older brother, Marty "Ogre 3"[2] Ryan to coach them during the National Championship in Las Vegas.

In December 2005, just before the 2005 MLG Season began, the Ogres and Walshy dropped Killer N and signed Saiyan. However, after losing to Team Carbon three times in a row at the end of the 2006 season Final Boss dropped Saiyan in favor of StrongSide.
