TeamDrive is collaboration software for secure team work within trusted communities. TeamDrive creates a virtual disk drive for data exchange, filesharing and collaboration over the Internet among teams and individuals. Anyone with access to an FTP or WebDAV server can use the basic version of TeamDrive free of charge for an unlimited time. The software application guarantees a high degree of security and was awarded the Data Protection Seal of Approval of the Independent Center for Privacy Protection Schleswig-Holstein Germany (ULD).

Using a communication structure similar to peer-to-peer, data is automatically synchronized between the computers and is, therefore, available for offline use. TeamDrive uses relay servers to guarantee availability at any time, regardless of time zones and firewalls. Due to the fully integrated end-to-end encryption (256 bit AES), reading of the data during transport and on the relay servers is not possible. TeamDrive relay servers with special services (http tunneling, backup) are offered by a variety of service providers. However, any FTP and WebDAV server to which a user has access can be used. This software is produced by PrimeSharing Deutschland GmbH in Hamburg, Germany, and the unlimited, permanent use of the basic version is offered free of charge. TeamDrive is a registered trademark in the US of PrimeSharing Deutschland GmbH.
