From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Teako170 was a New York City graffiti-writer from the Wakefield area of the Bronx. He started tagging in 1972 at the age of seven-years-old when New York graffiti was still in its infancy. In the late 70s, he was primarily seen on the 2s and 5s of the IRT White Plains Road Line until fading from the scene in 1983 when he joined the United States Air Force.
He returned to NYC in 1994 while shooting a film project as an undergrad at Loyola University Chicago which encompassed graffiti locations in the Bronx and downtown Manhattan.
In 1998, he launched www.teako170.com a.k.a. THIRD MILLENNIUM entertainment. A website devoted to filmmaking, screenwriting and various graphic arts such as comic book art and graffiti.
Today, he continues to write – from screenplays to online articles, reviews, and interviews. He has written for Kevin Smith's Moviepoopshoot.com and is presently researching material for a book on Shaw Brothers' director Chang Cheh and his Venom Mob.
